RENEWAL THROUGH RETREAT TO REFRESH [TRA2]
The Retreat To Refresh Programme is a three-day programme for teachers to reflect and renew their interest and passion in the teaching profession. The first two days are run consecutively and after a week or two, participants meet again for a full day to share and review their learning experiences through group discussions and individual presentation. Participants will also learn some strategies for self care.
The programme will cover issues on motivation and inter- intra personal work relationships and attitudes as well as self care measures for better mental health. It will provide opportunities for participants to rejuvenate their interest and passion as educators with skills to meet the challenging demands of CHANGE. Throughout the programme, participants will actively engage themselves in self reflection and group discussions to integrate some theoretical aspects of work life with personal experiences.
Class dates: 11,12 and 25 August 2011 [Class 8]
10,11 and 24 November 2011 [Class 9]
Time: 9.00am to 5.00pm (for 3 days)
