OLive is an integrated approach to developing and enhancing staff well-being. It looks into the physical, emotional and social development of MOE staff so as to enable them to achieve well-being in different aspects of their lives- self, family and work and community and environment.
Events
- The President's Challenge is an annual series of events in which everyone can participate and help those in need. SMRT is once again organising the Heart Bus in support of the President's Challenge 2010. Each Heart Bus will raise $20000 for the charities in the President's Challenge.
- The MOE Community Involvement Programme (MCIP) Committee will be coordinating MOE's efforts in supporting the Heart Bus initiative. All schools are invited to participate in this event by encourgaging their staff and students to donate to the Heart Bus.
The workshop is targeted at the near-retiring community of staff who want information on financial well-being.
Objectives: Participants will pick up understanding and skills on
(1) the basic principles of risk management and insurance in retirement
(2) selecting insurance products, including medical insurance
(3) How to avoid buying and over-buying the wrong type of insurance
The programme seeks to inform participants about the importance of keeping a healthy lifestyle and 4 main areas to focus on to ensure healthy living. The programme also offers tips on healthy weight management as well as eating smart. Pointers on stress management will be shared with the participants as well.

Do you know how to introduce and reinforce concepts to your child? Do you know your child’s weakness and how to create monitoring tools? Are you familiar with the common errors committed in Math? How do you break the monotony of doing worksheets? How do you incorporate the learning of math in everyday activities with effective questioning? Do you know how to devise your child’s examination timetable?
