OLive is an integrated approach to developing and enhancing staff well-being. It looks into the physical, emotional and social development of MOE staff so as to enable them to achieve well-being in different aspects of their lives- self, family and work and community and environment.
MOE Health Screening Exercise 2011
All MOE Staff in HQ and schools would be provided with the opportunity for free basic health screening to enhance the welfare and address healthcare needs of staff.
Individuals screened should be able to understand the significance of their health screening results and be advised on how to modify their lifestyles to reduce their risk factors, if any.
Free basic health screening for MOE Staff includes:
- Full Cholesterol Test
- Blood Glucose Test
- HBA1C Test if blood glucose above 7mmol
- Blood Pressure Measurement
- Body Mass Index
- Interpreted Medical Report and Health Advices
- Faecal Occult Blood Test (for staff age 50 and above)
Optional tests (payable by staff) includes:
- Comprehensive Package (Liver Profile, Hepatitis Profile, Kidney Profile, Endocrine Profile, Bone & Joint Profile, Cancer Markers, Venereal Profile, Full Blood Count, Hb Indices)
- Ovarian Screening (CA125)
- Prostate Screening (PSA)
- Nasopharyngeal Screening (EBV)
- Pancreatic Screening (CA19.9)

For Schools: The vendor will work with the respective school Liaison Officers to schedule a suitable date for the health screening exercise. The health screening exercise will be conducted on-site at the various schools between June 2011 and February 2012.
