ACTIVE LIFESTYLE AFTER RETIREMENT

“Happiness is lending a helping hand, listening to the laughter of your grandchildren, walking in a park and spending time with an old friend!”  -- Anonymous

Other than keeping physically healthy, it is important that we maintain our mental and social well-being after retirement.  We can do this through building and expanding our social network of family and friends for emotional and psychological support. This would mean taking that first step to stay connected with old friends and colleagues.  It would also include contributing back to society through volunteering and spending time to help those in need.

Please email to the Staff Well-being Unit at moe_swb@moe.edu.sg if you are keen to:
- form interest groups, e.g., walking, line dancing, travelling
- organise gathering sessions for retirees
- participate in MOE HQ’s Community Involvement Programme
