OLive is an integrated approach to developing and enhancing staff well-being. It looks into the physical, emotional and social development of MOE staff so as to enable them to achieve well-being in different aspects of their lives- self, family and work and community and environment.
Traditional Chinese Medicine – An Introduction to Holistic Nutrition
The workshop focuses on both western and eastern nutritional aspects which include the practical side of holistic nutrition, energy aspects of food, ten types of herbs, Japanese macrobiotic diet and western science theory.
Objectives: Participants will pick up an understanding of
(1) what holistic nutrition is
(2) gain an insight of the ancient dietary principles and modern research on the effects of the environment, emotion and spiritual influences of the food we eat, the water we dink and the air we breathe
(3) how to exercise better healthcare
