Lunchtime Talk@Buona Vista: Juggling time for family and for work
Juggling time for family and for work - the pros and cons of part-time work
After working as a VP in a Secondary School, Mrs Lucy Toh chose to go on the 'mummy track' from 2005 after her first son was born, through the birth of twin sons in 2006 and until end 2009. This meant a 4-day week at CPDD, followed by almost two years of maternity and no-pay childcare leave and then two years at PED where she worked a 3-day week. Through this time, she learned a lot about how to make 'part-time work' work.
