MESRC is organizing the OLive Run 2010 on Saturday, 25 September 2010 at East Coast Park. OLive Run will have both a competitive (5km individual and team & 10km individual race) and recreational (3km) element. The event hopes to attract up to 4000 participants from MOE HQ and schools and their family members. Ms Ho Peng, Director-General of Education, has kindly agreed to flag off the run.

MCIP Concert & Bazaar
The MCIP Concert is our annual mega event for MOE officers to play their part in community involvement. This year marks its 10th Anniversay. The concert will be held on 29 Sep 2010, 3.00pm at Edutorium.
The charity bazaar will be held from 29 Sep - 30 Sep 2010, 10.00am - 2.00pm at Courtyard.

To promote physical wellness, we have organised an ERP@Park walk to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on 30th September 2010 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. The walk would be preceded by a short warm-up session at the MOE courtyard. Transport will be provided to ferry all participants to the destination. This activity also serves as an opportunity for staff to strengthen the bond with one another.

Children's Day Special - Kids@Work
As part of MOE's pro-family effort as well as to coincide with Children's Day, MOE officers are encouraged to bring their children (aged between 5 and 10) to work on 1 October 2010. The children would spend two hours in the morning at their parent's workplace. This would be followed by lunch and a series of fun activities that promote teamwork and encourage positive values such as patience, respect and resilience.

Massage Service by Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped
Masseurs of the Mobile Massage Team provide various form of massages to suit individual needs. Taking place on 1 October 2010 between 10 am and 2 pm, MOE Officers will be able to choose between the Foot Reflexology and Head and Shoulder Massage. The professionally-trained visually handicapped masseurs are certified by established International massage agencies such as the Protherapist Academy, and are often engaged by schools and other organisations for their services.
Each massage type(Foot Reflexology, Head and Shoulder Massage) is chargeable at $12 for 20 minutes and will take place at MOE Buona Vista, MESRC Aerobics Room.
Kindly take note that there are only 4 available slots per timeframe regardless of massage type.
