Resistance bands are effective, low-cost fitness products designed for rehab and strength training. The creation of positive and negative muscle force during use also provides for coordinated muscle development.

Participants will pick up
- knowledge and skills on geriatric health issues and well-being
- coping with an ageing brain and dealing with ageing health problems
- common geriatric disorders and early symptoms for early treatment
- how to keep the brain sharp
Eating Right and Choosing Right (For Staff Aged 50 yrs and above)
Programme:
- Plan a healthy, balanced eating plan, including food label reading;
- Food Safety: Handling & Preparation;
- Choosing healthier ingredients on a budget;
- Cooking Demo;
- Hands-on-Session (2 main dish and 1 side dish)
Get Moving!
Participants will learn about the important role exercise plays in their lives and how to use resistance bands for strength training. Participants will also gain understanding of the different training methods, precautions and tips on injury prevention.
