Cellulite is the lumpy substance resembling cottage cheese that is commonly found on the thighs, stomach, and butt. Cellulite is actually a fancy name for collections of fat that push against the connective tissue beneath a person's skin, which causes the surface of the skin to dimple or pucker like the surface of an orange peel.  

 

 

Healthy Eating and Healthy Cooking

Participants would learn how to plan and prepare a healthy, balanced meal using healthier choices' ingredients and within budget.

Programme:
- Plan a healthy, balanced eating plan, including food label reading;
- Food Safety: Handling & Preparation;
- Choosing healthier ingredients on a budget;
- Cooking Demo;
- Hands-on-Session (2 main dish and 1 side dish)

 

Women's Health - What You Need to Know

The session aims to provide participants with a better understanding about women’s health concerns such cancers and managing menopause. It also provides participants with a better knowledge on screening programmes for women.

Osteoporosis

The session seeks to equip participants with basic essential knowledge about osteoporosis as well as the risk factors. It will also provide pointers on how to prevent osteoporosis through diet and exercise with demonstration. Assessment tools will also be shared with the participants during the session. Participants are required to wear sports attire for the session.
